It's been reported Jarmo wants a 1st, 3rd, 4th for Gavrikov. Apparently the Bruins are close to acquiring him says Pagnotta. Bruins have a 2023 1st. Leafs don't. So advantage Bruins.

Gavrikov is so good at shutting teams down that the puck is always in his end and his team gets constantly shelled when he's on the ice

1. I would look to combine the Kerfoot and Gavrikov deals into one.
Send off Kerfoot, a 1st, a 3rd, and a pick conditional on Nyquist's return for Gavrikov and Nyquist. Columbus should be happy with this return and can even retain on Kerfoot and flip to a contender separately.

2. The Connor Brown trade doesn't benefit Toronto

Well - you need a goalie too while you’re wishing for things

I would say it does cuz Brown should be ready for training camp, he has no shot at the playoffs. Caps take the free pick

Brown is a pending UFA. Senseless deal for all parties involved

That would be my worry for the Leafs in the playoffs. Goaltending. But Dubas seems pretty confident in his injury prone duo Murray and Sammy. So I guess that's who he's going with. 🤔

We still don't want Kerfoot.

No one does. Kerfoot is the CFACGM cockroach. No matter how much you wish he'd just go away, he still scatters when you turn the lights on.

Holl is the CFACGM Bob Wiley in the movie "What About Bob."

ONLY it's "What About Holl?" He simply won't leave. Ever.
