Hutson, as a freshman, is the best defensemen in the NCAA. His ideal timeline to hit the NHL fits our timeline to compete perfectly. Why would we ever trade him?

Edmundson maybe worth a 3rd. With the injury history and how bad he has been playing probably worth a 4th.

I didn't like MM the first few weeks, but he's really grown on me. He takes some risks I'm not thrilled with, but he pulls them off more often than not. Really not a fan of how he passes around defenders by leaning behind them. I feel like he's gonna get burned everytime.

For Dubois, you need to change the first to a first in 23 and build from there. Not much chance the Jets wait until 24 if accepting an all futures deal.

Trading Hutson and the Florida first for Chychrun (who is really only a LhD) would be a tragedy. Trading Hutson, Harris and the Florida first for him would be a crime.

Matheson, Guhle, Harris and Xhekaj have the left side covered for the foreseeable future.
