Leafs decline, no reason to give away Kerfoot

Kerfoot deal may make sense if they have another trade they need cap space for.

With how the lines are arranged, the J line of Martinook-Staal-Fast will be staying together. Not to mention, Svech-Aho-Jarvis and Turbo-KK-Necas lines are just clicking. Even the Canes 4th line of Stastny-Stepan-Noesen is rolling. I do think the Canes should make a big splash, but with how good the chemistry is with the current forward lines, my deadline plan might change to adding forward depth, upgrading 3LD a bit, and if nothing else happens and the cap isn’t used, take on cap dumps and gain more assets.

Not saying what I mentioned above will happen, but for the time being, I don’t think the Canes change anything up front with how good chemistry currently is.
