No way are we retaining $2,250,000 on Vrana for a pending UFA in Woods and a lousy 5th round pick. Offer needs to be far better than this. Friedman already mentioned up to 6 teams having interest in Vrana. we'll get a better offer than this for him.

Since your picks will be in the back half of each round, I don't think that the offer of a second and Walsh is sufficient if we're also taking Andreas Johnsson off your hands.

As a Devils fan, can we stop with this Henrique BS? He’s 33 making almost $6m until he’s 35 and will be nothing more than a 3C for NJ. He’s scored 50 points twice in his career 8+ years ago. Sure, he’s on pace for a good year now, but that just makes his trade value go up. He isn’t worth what it would cost to get him. Those pieces would be better spent elsewhere.

Nostalgia isn’t a good reason to get him. That’s a Lou Lamoriello move, and we’re past that.
