side question - any kind of deal that makes sense with sending Oloffsson out? His highs are good but his lows are BAAAD, And this roster would be better fit with a 2 way guy there. I made these trades under the assumption Tuch is out for a while, and if they don’t trade Olofsson I wouldn’t mind straight up taking him out for Tuch when he comes back. Could maybe Zucker be an option?

Detroit passes, Asplund is hot trash. And Detroit isn't retaining on Vrana either.

Pens decline. Zucker has been better for the pens and like how he plays. Wouldn’t do it 1 for 1 much less add a 3rd.

Olofsson is either VERY bad or good. And his very bads more than outweigh the good. He’s an absolute liability half the time

As much as I’d like a Saros type goalie,
he just doesn’t fit our timeline

1- he has just 2years left on his contract after this, & we aren’t winning a Cup in that time frame

2- he’ll be 30 at the end of his current contract, and we shouldn’t wanna extend a guy that old to the max term deal he’ll demand- & at big $$$

3- that means we should be trading him before he walks as a UFA, which means we’d only have him for this playoffs & next,
then we’d have to flip him

4- giving up all the assets it’ll take to get him- to only have him for roughly a year & a half- to turn around & flip him for less assets- just doesn’t make sense for us

If he was younger, or signed longer, then maybe
But unfortunately, the circumstances with his contract make him a poor fit for us

I kinda figure adams will go cheap short term vet until Levi is ready. If Anderson is gone after this year, I would like to see at least one goalie brought in, I don't wanna watch upl and comrie as our only goalies next year, I'll be throwing remotes at my tv.

    U could be right
But it’s a big gamble just waiting around for Levi to be our next “franchise goalie”
If he doesn’t work out, we’ll have wasted years with a young team ready to do some damage

    LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

You seriously think Buffalo offers a cheap PPG winger, a young player who got selke votes last year and a pick for someone who passed thru waivers a month ago?

    Preds decline.

I'm gonna assume the 1st is the centerpiece, and it's not even for this year. AND it's top protected?
If we're giving you a vezina caliber goalie with term, we're gonna ask for a blue chip prospect in return.

If you think you are getting vrana retained for an F minus prospect and a lame pick to a division rival during a playoff run for both teams that are fighting each other, it's as delusional as you trading tuch for him.

Bro called asplund, who got legit selke consideration last year, a “f level prospect”

Also stop acting like Vrana is gonna get you some sick return. GMs didn’t even want him for free

Because you don't know the full story per usual on here. Asplund will barely be an NHL player. Plus teams fighting for the same spot dont just say here's a guy who can regain his form and help you beat us, just doesn't work like that. Buffalo gives up something of consequence or he goes out west where it doesn't affect us at all
