Pretty underwhelming return imo. A just above PPG player as a DY+2 in the CHL seems like less value than a 2nd or so. But maybe I am wrong and he works out well, I think for St Louis the 2nd would be able to be used to upgrade one of those firsts to get a player they like more

I think that at 6' 175 he is fine, muscle ≠ strength, I think he should get stronger yes as you can see he often crumples when getting hit, but more muscle mass can inhibit endurance and manoeuvrability.

There's a fine balance. Cholowski put on too much muscle one summer and it slowed him down. Whereas before his skating was one of the reasons why Detroit drafted him. ☹️

Oh totally, and some guys can out train it, like Chara and letang, both absolutely jacked but have/ had great careers, one of the biggest reasons for that is that the extra muscle often helps prevent injury
