I agree but i'm not sure about giving up a 2nd for a 3rd pair RHD and a backup goalie.

i think it would be worth it considering the d lines would become

Walman/Seider
Chiarot/Hronek
Maatta/Fabbro
Oesterle/Hagg

Not a bad d core especially with viro, wallinder, sebrango, and edvinsson coming up

Exactly, and considering by the time the young guys are well versed and ready charot will be ready to hang up the skates
