They've obviously discussed Meier extending and he's willing. Haven't agreed on numbers but if it was a Winnipeg situation they wouldn't have traded for him

Was told earlier by a source in the know in San Jose that Meier is open to extending with the #NJDevils, so no extension in place at this moment shouldn’t be a worry and likely lowered the cost.

1st/Zetterlund/Mukh/Casey is my prediction at this point. Even that might be more than it actually is. Keep Hughes/Nemec/Mercer/Holtz and this is a theft, somebody call 9-1-1!
