Description

DET picks up a second round pick in a stacked 2023 draft and a young middle 6 forward with scoring ability. Sharangovich is probably going to get 3.5m per year starting next year. So between the 3.5m Sharangovich is owed and the 2.375m that they're paying Perron still, DET is only paying 1.125m more in cap while acquiring a younger player and a 2nd round pick

I don't think Detroit is planning on trading Perron but I think they would definitely consider this. They probably accept.

Remaining Cap Hit : $454,054 for Sharangovich and then he is an RFA. I doubt they move Perron but this isn't a bad deal.
