nope, you said McCabe retained would cost a 1st +++ on his own, and Laferty would cost a 2nd on his own and Domi a 2nd at least and yes, taking a salary dump costs at least a mid round of picks. You know this because it cost the leafs like 12 spots in the draft to dump a full year term of Mrazek a round higher. so because of that Domi cost the same value as engvall, and the leafs didnt even have to retain. Oh and you also said that engvall would cost a late round pick and even that the leafs would have to pay someone to take him.
