Description

Is it just me or is this team really starting to look scary come the future. Hughes has 75 points so far in 56 games. Mercer can't stop scoring. Bratt and Hamilton are almost PPG players. Hischier is looking like a finalist for the Selke. Vanecek has been a solid add as our new #1 goalie. All of this without our big addition of Timo Meier. Does it finally feel like the rebuild is truly over and all those years of being bad are gone? This team is so exciting to watch and we also don't have our 3 top prospects on the team in L.Hughes, Nemec and Holtz. Let me know what you guys think of this team and how you feel that it looks like it's only going to get better as a Devils fan.

As long as Devils spend their cap wisely, they can top contenders in the Metro. Wings and Sabres might be doing the same in the Atlantic.

NJD now has top-10 scoring forwards from drafts in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020…and top-5 picks from 2021, 2022 that have yet to arrive.

Things are looking pretty, pretty good.

Yes, a really good club; 110%.

However, the EAST is full of great & good clubs.
Realistically, the NJD will likely have to get some playoff scars first (tight loses) as per many young clubs.

After that they can def be seen as a dominant force without question or doubters...

There is the recent Bally Sports Broadcast Chapter-11 bankruptcy filing which remains a red-herring for future Cap ^ ^ $$$$$$$.

Why can't the BILLIONAIRE owners just step up and empty their pocket change for once and provide CAP xtra's of $5MIL per club, or more, for some relief...
