Trade Garland for nothing just so we can go out and trade for a rental Roslovic? No thanks...

It's already been reported that Gavrikov won't sign with any Canadian team.

And Jack Roslovic wanted out of Canada, Very doubtful he'd have any interest in Vancouver.

Generally I like it. I think they will buy out OEL though (not as terrible if you look up the actual numbers). And think Boeser and Garland may go for a little more either in the summer or before the next TDL as their numbers improve. Agree on Gavrikov. Said hes not resigning right away (with LA) and his buddy (Kuzmenko) plays for the Canucks and they have the same Agent (as well as Kravtsov), Milstein.

Ya I'm curious to. Only thing I've heard is he doesn't want to talk contract with anyone right now. His agent is Dan Milstein. He had a lot of clients that have signed with the Canucks since the new management team came in.

I keep seeing people say that it's been reported that he won't sign in Canada and when I ask for a source I get tumbleweeds. I'm started to think it might not have actually been reported.

Meh. Bear is short term and has played top4 minutes in Van and done reasonably well. He's a good stop gap to see what you have in guys like Livingstone or Johansson. Gavrikov is a solid defence dman that is strong on the PK. Those are two big holes on the Canucks blue line and I think he would mesh well with Hronek who played his best hockey beside Maata.

I honestly like this deal for both sides.
