as a Leafs fan...........CLB passes big time. That's a huge amount of future to give up for 1 year of Matthews and 2 years of a probably declining Tavares. But I'd totally do it.

It all depends....... Would love to keep him, but if he doesn't want to sign an extension in the offseason, that doesn't bode well for the team. They need to get a haul for him if he doesn't want to resign, and that would mean moving him this offseason instead of losing him after next season.
