Avs will be in a cap crunch. The 2nd is fine, but could you also spare a cheap player or B-level prospect? Preferrably a C; Dowd would work.

I can agree with that. Byram & Toews will be the top 4 LD, who do you think they could go after to fill the 2nd RD position?

Don't listen to earl. That's not enough for Girard.

The easiest comp for trade value at the moment is Hronek. And Girard is signed for three extra years. Circumstances always differ, but I think you gotta at least be in the neighborhood of a good 1st and 2nd vs a pick 2 years away and a warm body.
