Trades
1.
WSH
  1. Garland, Conor
  2. Myers, Tyler
  3. 2023 1st round pick (VAN)
Additional Details:
Assuming VAN move on from Miller they'll want a center. Kuz would be great behind Petersson. They also shed a lot of extra cash. Rumors of both Garland and Myers being bought out this summer.
VAN
  1. Kuznetsov, Evgeny
  2. 2023 2nd round pick (WSH)
Additional Details:
Caps take on a bad contract in Myers and move up in the draft to grab RHD David Reinbacher, future #1D. Meaning they have #1C and #1D, completely skipping the rebuild process once Ovi retires.
2.
WPG
  1. Chesley, Ryan [Reserve List]
  2. Gibson, Mitchell [Reserve List]
  3. McMichael, Connor
  4. 2024 1st round pick (WSH)
  5. 2025 2nd round pick (COL)
3.
WSH
  1. Mangiapane, Andrew
Additional Details:
No idea what the cost of Mang would be. He's great but having a down season like Mantha. Think CGY would take a chance on Mantha, a big Canadian boy. Give him top 6 linemates and PP time like he deserves and he'll product.
CGY
  1. Mantha, Anthony
  2. 2024 3rd round pick (MIN)

Canucks pass on the trade Kuznetsov is outside the window that allvin is lookin 27 and under. Van would rather have Reinbacher to hopefully become top pairing for years with Hughes.

Flames decline. Mang is having a down year production wise but actually shows up every game and puts in a full effort. Mantha is well known for showing up when he feels like it

O for sure but if it means getting David Reinbacher then I'll take Myers. Could also buy him out and bring in TvR.

Canucks decline. They want younger players, Kuznetsov doesn't fit their window. 2023 1st is also off the table in any trades, and they won't be paying to dump Myers or Garland.

I actually think Mangiapane might be dealt this summer, we need to free up cap space for 23-24 and beyond and like it or not it is a what have you done for me lately league., This particular deal doesn't work because of Mantha's salary, but I would absolutely look at moving him for a 1st+

I think it's very unlikely he's moved. That whole "what have you done for me lately" view goes both ways. Teams don't exactly have cap space. You don't see people lining up to take on Boeser.

Calgary needs to clear between 1-1.5M in cap. Clearing more than that just to bring in more aging players is stupid. Much better to bet on Mange bouncing back

Probably a slight overpay for Ehlers, so I'd take it.
