I think Tampa's performance issues come from the stars f-ing off and deciding not to play good hockey. Jeannot, in all fairness, is doing what he was brought over to do. Be a menace. I don't know if this is his problem, it might be an issue of the guys making 8m+ not acting like it.

I agree. Tampa's got too many people making to much money. At least one of Hedman, Stamkos or Kucherov are going to be moved in order to make cap for the younger guys in the offseason or the season after.

Was he an overpayment? Sure. But let's not be quick to crap on the guy who sees the ice 12 minutes a night. There's a reason Cooper benched the stars a few games ago.

Jeannot has been just as advertised for Tampa. They should be very happy for him. The problem has nothing to do with him. BriseBois made the right move he just gave up too much. If he kept the 2nd 3rd and 4th then its a good trade. We got a bag but man do I miss him

Are you serious? Couple reasons none of those three go anywhere .
1. NO MOVEMENT CLAUSE!
Stamkos couldn't be replaced by a league minimum contract if bought out with cap saving.
2. All three have been very productive.
3. This is nothing new for TB

That's been said for the last three years, yet Julien Brisebois has figured it out, and has been extremely productive in the process.

They aren't going to get moved. Maybe Stamkos walks at the end of his deal but that is probably not likely at all
