This is probably fair for Lindholm alone, but not with Andersson included. Can take Tuo out because he has no value.

Do you think healthy Paccioretty has value? He clearly got dumped. Vegas set the market on Monahan and similar. How exactly do you think this is fair for Lindholm. Velano and Viro have next to zero value too

Your opinion far predated the Pacioretty trade, and was quite different than what happened.

Veleno and Viro don't have a vast amount of value here, agreed. But Lindholm isn't worth more than any other trade in NHL history. The trade value here is less than Meier which I think is likely considering age, RFA vs UFA, and performance. Lindholm plays C vs W, which would offset the latter. I don't think the valuation here is too awful.

That's my point. My opinion was before Vegas was dumb enough to pay to move Patches. How is that confusing. I never once argued Monahan's trade value after that trade since Vegas set the market for moving cap. However I do still think paying to move Monahan to acquire a 32 year old Kadri was poor asset management.

Lindholm is worth more than Horvat, especially if he's traded in the offseason. The above trade is even moving the same 1st. This offer simply doesn't come close to the Horvat return.

Calgary doesn't do that deal.
