Not a chance Winnipeg does the first or Washington does the second.

idk i feel like the dubois saga has become a hindrance on the team. I think the values alright, barron is a pretty good prospect. Montreal fans will probably still complain about. Dvorak should be decent and can fill in for center in case perfetti gets injured again. Plus is contract isnt too long and wont hinder us when its time to resign ehlers or connor's new contract.

On the washington trade. Pionk just isnt working. Washington is in a retool and carlson's health could be questionable. They probably dont want to sign anymore near 30 players to long term deals. Pionk is younger and on a shorter contract with upside. He just doesnt really work with winnipeg's blueline. Winnipeg can take the risk with wilson

There's just no logical reason for the Jets to take less for Dubois than he would get as a rental. So that is awful value. Dvorak is an expensive 4C with a season ending knee injury. Until he comes back and proves he can play, he has no value. Even fully healthy he has no value to the Jets.

Wilson isn't waiving for Winnipeg and Washington isn't taking that deal no matter how much you like it.

If WPG miss playoffs, Scheifele and Hellebyuck will ask to be traded. If they do, i could see WPG go through a rebuild and try to get draft picks just like Chicago.

Him being on an expiring contract, possibly leaving after the season. Chevy doesnt usually make those moves

Chevy did trade patrik laine during the season to avoid another training camp distraction. He put the teams chemistry above making the best possible trade. Not sure if there was a better offer for laine but never the less. Maybe swap the second for the florida first. Josh Anderson could be another option but his contract is more expensive and longer. Barron is the best prospect chevy could get though. Montreal honestly doesn't have much.

True most people don't but if the captials are really 'retooling', you never know. Winnipeg might finish the year strongwe and be a better option next year then washington. Okay brian mclellan whatever you say. There is a logic to a move like that though for both sides

and BMac doesn't trade away probably his most valuable asset and future captain for a guy who plays the caps' least needed position and by your own admission "isn't working out"

Caps give you Wilson for Ehlers

Yeah the Caps wouldn’t consider that trade. Pionk “isn’t working” because he “isn’t good,” Washington doesn’t Want or Need him and they certainly wouldn’t trade Wilson for him, that’s a dog**** proposal.

bruh, ovechkin for ehlers more likely bro. Ehlers at his best is the jets best forward. Wilson is good but he doesn't have game breaking talent like ehlers

interesting because the coaching staff seems to play him like their seventh best forward
