If Muzzin can't play again, what's the purpose of the trade? I don't see Samsonov and Bunting and Acciari taking so little $$$$$

I would accept that offer as the Anaheim GM with the same alacrity as my esteemed friend @Lenny7.

The first thing you should do in analyzing whether Los Angeles would consider that offer for a nanosecond is remind yourself that Murray gets paid EIGHT MILLION DOLLARS next season. That's right, $8 million.

I don't exactly know what you're trying to accomplish with the Anaheim trade, but we would take it.

Is LA broke now or something?

But in all seriousness, I think the hilarious part is not only are you taking on Murray in full, you're retaining on Petersen as well. With an incentive of roughly 30 draft spots how could you possible say no?

Leafs get a good winger and depth back and avoid having to use LTIR space, Dubas does his usual trade down of picks anyways, Ducks get closer to the floor and have to pay less actual $$$ for next year and help improve their tank.

Ahhh, see, there's a couple incorrect assumptions in there. Terry and Zegras are due for their lockup contracts, as it stands right now we cruise over the cap floor rather easily.

Silf is a perfectly palatable player at 2.6 but I would be hard pressed to refer to him as "good" anymore. He is defensively sound and opportunistic when the puck suddenly lands on his stick, but I'd personally like to move him off our roster to clear out some space, I just think his time in Anaheim has passed and we have too many bottom 6 players as it is right now.

Still, we'd take this deal.

I had to look that up, I did not know that. Ottawa is eating way more cash than I thought they would. So around 6 would be going to whoever takes Murray. He's going to have better value than Mrazek though and that didn't cost TO much really.
