What does playing right now have to do with a pick in 2025? More than likely Bergeron & Krejci will have retired prior to the '24-'25 season. DeBrusk could leave via FA adter the '23-'24 season. Of the guys currently on the 23 man roster, only 9 are actually signed for the '24-'25 season.
