Philly one: Absolutely not.
Florida takes that and runs away laughing... if they can deal Bob, which they presumably cannot. So no.
I'd imagine Boston would have no interest in that even if they could afford it, which they probably cannot. So no.

How is that even close to true? Florida needs goaltending in the worst way. That is pretty much the only reason they are not in a playoff spot. Hellebuyck will be in the Vezina conversation again this year.

Boston needs a replacement for Bergeron. Dubois is the best one to fill that role. Big power forward that plays a complete game and scores about 60 points a season. Same production as Bergeron.

laugh laugh On these trades, All teams not named Winnipeg easily pass.

Mark Scheifele isn't waiving for a team that's heading for a rebuild, Plus no way in hell does Scheifele get Carter Hart. There's absolutely no way Scheifele commits long term with that dump.

First off Bobrovsky sure as hell isn't waiving for Arizona, Secondly Knight is the future in Florida so Zito isn't paying Connor Hellebuyck 7 x 7 and isn't giving up Anton Lundell for him either. There's already been rumblings where Hellebuyck wants to play close to his Michigan home after his wife gave birth to their child this past summer. So very doubtful Hellebuyck commits long term with Florida.

The Pierre-Luc Dubois trade is even more laugh as Dubois plans on going home to Montreal. And Boston isn't giving up Carlo and Lysell for a player they've zero chance of resigning because they don't have the cap space for him. People need to think things out. There's no way Boston can afford PLD.

I appreciate your feedback.

I am from Winnipeg and haven't heard a single thing about Hellebuyck saying anything close to that. If you have that somewhere I would love to give that a read. How does Boston not have enough space for him? Carlo at 4 mil and Bergeron at 5 mil is enough to lock him up. Maybe others need to think things out.

I asked a simple question about if the value was there. You didn't need to come on here and put me down. I bet you cant pull that proof about Hellebuyck saying he wants to be close to home.

Dubois himself said that he never said he wanted to play for Montreal. His agent said that as a kid he was a fan of his hometown team. Dubois wants to win and make money. I think everyone who thinks he is going to Montreal is a slam dunk will be in for a shock when he signs elsewhere. It won't be Winnipeg, but I would almost drop money on it not being Montreal either.

Florida has 2 starting goaltenders lmao. Whether you Bob is overpaid or not does not take away the fact that he is still a starting goaltender. They also need Lundell significantly more than you seem to think

In what world do Dubois replace Bergeron? They aren't even remotely similar players. Then you just completely ignore the fact that their cap is already extremely tight for next year and you are taking a core piece to their d-core and their #1 prospect

I like the idea of Hellebuyck for Florida, but it's not happening unless Bobrovsky is going to Winnipeg in the process. That changes the parameters of a trade, but Bob has a NMC he likely isn't waiving.

By the time Bob can be traded, Florida would be better off signing Hellebuyck in free agency then using any assets saved from a trade to move Bob out.

Florida's goaltending is fine. 1) Bob isnt actually bad people just asssume he is bad because of his contract. 2) They also have Knight who is still 21/22 and has shown promise. Their biggest issue is the defense it's horrendouse they need a LHD that can stablilize the defensive game because 3 OFD isnt it.
