Yeah, arizona doesn't touch that with a 10 foot pole.

The only folks that value Knies this much are Leaf fans. He is a 20 year old sophomore who hardly scored a ppg on a line with two of the highest scoring players in the NCAA. Murray is a negative asset as Arizona will have to pay his buyout.

Throw in Boston's first rounder depending on where it lands and you may incentivize Armstrong to answer the phone

Leafs shouldn't be trading Liljgren. Another crazy extension just to get value from a trade. for Nylander Absolutely nothing in for Arizona in trading Crouse. Knies to Arizona....doubtful. Yeah, he might not sign with the Leafs, put he zero motivation to sign with Arizona either.

I love this anxiety of Knies not signing, as if there is any reasonable fear of it. So far the only things I've seen are clickbait and baseless worrying from fans. As of now there is no concern

Canes aren’t likely to have the cap space for Nylander’s extension, so why would they waste assets on him?

Crouses value is higher than Knies right now. So the Leafs still add to the deal.

Hard Pass - Leafs can drown in their own foolish Murray buyout. Crouse for Knies is not a value swap.

Actually, if Knies wants to snub his ELC offer from Toronto he might just sign with AZ on his own. He grew up in the Phoenix east valley and his family still lives here.
