Who needs a backup goalie when you have Marc-Andre Fleury

1 if you read my description I said I messed up and didn't edit the cap to add the 1 million its going up next season so there is the back up goalie.

2 that is likely what Zucker is worth after this season and look at those lines and tell me that's not the best combo... when you have 3 guys taking pay cuts like we do you can pay guys who are on the third line..... We had Kessel Making 8 million (Yes we only paid 5.5 but keep in mind the cap increase) to play on the third line and won two cups because of it, because it was the right combination.

Again like I said, I messed up and didn't add the cap increase so that gives us 1.7 million to sign a random backup, we'll likely have Blomquist up by the end of the season anyway but he needs to start in the A so that he doesn't go an entire season without playing regularly.

Again if you read the description I forgot to set the cap to next years cap we have 1.7 for a backup.... you may be right on overpaying Zucker but not by much

Most Pen fans have Zucker traded, And you overpay him by at least $2,000,000 to $2,500,000.

Didn't hear that, last I heard he said he was going to try and play again, makes sense for him though. Either way it was a PTO so not really gonna affect anything I did here, I was saying there was a 1% chance it worked out

That was what they said at the start of the 2021-22 season but after they gave him a conditioning stint in the AHL, he decided it wasn’t worth it.

1 he's an FA so no one has him traded and anything that I have seen wants him back, 2 I may have overpaid him by 2 mill but not 2.5, I'd say he's worth at least 6. But I could obviously be wrong. I said the Hextal shouldn't be GM not that I should be lol, there's got to be at least 700 thousand people they should call before me.

If that is the case then we just opened up a **** to more for a backup goalie, we could probably get an A class backup and still have money to trade in season if something doesn't work.

Makes sense, like I said not really gonna effect my roster any because it was gonna be a PTO that I was assuming would not work.

With the edit, Zucker's AAV is a tad high but appropriate.

No reason to trade for MAF - especially if you're going to be paying assets for him. He isn't even better than Desmith at this point.
