Description

With these additions we have legit top 6 that with growth of young players can compete with any team. The fourth line will continue to play a lot of the important minutes against other teams top line. The third line is wild card and will need to be protected and get only offensive zone starts. They all have potential to become top 6 players.

The defense should be improved with Samuelson being healthy and power another year. Fabbro should help with breakout passes and take some pressure off Power.

Goaltending should be vastly improved and help push team into playoffs

If everything works out the Toffoli is trade at deadline and Savoie/ peterka take a step to play on top 6. And kulich is ready to play in the top 9.

I think Sabres need a top six forward who can take the pressure cozen and Quinn. The good thing about the Sabres is they have a ton of prospects and young roster players. If one is ready to play top six then they can trade toffoli at deadline to recoup picks/prospects.

Take out the 2nd for Rosen, preds don't need more young wingers.

And Fabbro has seen more sheltered minutes this season, but he hasn't been all that bad. I'd rather keep him over Jokiharju, unless you wanted to throw a pick or two our way for him.

Mittelsadt had career year while doing so mostly on third line and second power play. In past 9 games he has been playing in and out of top line because Thompson has been hurt. In those games he has 13 points. I think with better line mates he can take another step.
