I think ZAR is a better playoff option than Knies at this point… that said I hope the kid develops into a stud.

I'd be surprised if Knies played game 1. But he's certainly an option down the road. Injuries happen and Keefe would likely make a change or 2 after a loss just to shake things up.

I am not so sure watching him tonight. He will make some mistakes that will cost us but he'll make a lot more happen. I think he's going to force his way. It's beyond clear he's going to be a very good NHL player. He's got so much more talent than our bottom 6 guys. He really could be a major boost to the team. I certainly didn't expect him to be this good already.

He's been impressive tonight with Willy and ROR. I really didn't think he'd be a game 1 started but I am not so sure now. I fully support the low event bottom 6 but with ROR and Knies on a 3rd line sure makes some matchup difficulty.

ZAR-Kampf-Lafferty was trending in the right direction as a 4th line then Lafferty got hurt

I get the excitement but playoff hockey is different. This is a franchise deciding series are gonna put a rookie in those kinds of games no. Knies will be good for us next year but unless there is an injury hes in the pressbox
