Nope. Hanas will be the rising star next year in the minors. I've been super impressed with him this year. I wrote him off before this year. Something about him makes me think he has another level or 2.

Prospects don't bring parades. I think that trade is good and I'm not a fan of either team.

I don’t think a guy that only gets to over a point per game in his age 20 or D+2 is a top prospect. I don’t think the Sens would be interested anyways

It’s a whole bunch of not much and a pick not in 2023

He isn't a top prospect. He is definitely one of the better ones in the system. Hanas may end up being nothing, but I see a 4th line role for him at minimum; the odd thing is, from what I have seen in limited sample size, he is WAY underrated and may very well be that guy who keeps getting better every year and not hitting a ceiling until he is 32. Think Palat, I guess?

I think you are underrating Hanas a bit. Points doesn’t tell the whole story, but these u22 players have really similar stats in the AHL: Gunler, Turcotte, Podkolzin and Hanas.

No one said he's a top prospect, he's a very solid 200 foot player. Who should at least average 0.50 points per game over the course of his career.

If that’s how much it would cost to sign Suter I’d just let him walk. 3x2.75 sounds more fair to me
