idk if that's enough for Stevey Y. Don't get me wrong, I love Yamamoto but does he fit into that new Red Wing narrative? I don't know.

Not worth it for Detroit. Perron brings more than that trade for us.

Yeah but his years are starting to be numbered.

Just his leadership and presence is important to the team. He brings more than just his on ice play. I like Yams energy but his production just isn't really there considering he plays with the best two players in the NHL.

If this were true you wouldn't be trading them.

Detroit isn't trading Perron. He'll likely finish his career here on 1 or 2 year deals until he's cooked playing on the 4th line, moves at a deadline to chase another cup, or decides to hang them up. Not only is his production on the ice very valuable, what he provides off the ice makes him borderline untouchable (comparative to the value he'd return in a trade)

Detroit passes, Not even close for David Perron. Ceci and Yamamoto aren't even close to getting you a 56 point per season RHS like David Perron.

The Carter Hart trade is even more laugh Outside of Bourgault and the 2024 1st it's pure trash. Detroit is heavily linked on Carter Hart and would easily better this offer.

Before the trade, had like 3-4 M to sign 4-5 players. Not good.

Oh you know him on a personal level and know what he provides off the ice?
