No thanks. Undoing the trade would mean Calgary gets Tkachuk back.

Yeah, and I don't think FLA would ever entertain this deal. As bad as Bobs deal is, he's playing better than Markstrom. Monotour has been much better than Weegar, at half the cost.

I'm pretty sure Matty is pretty happy not paying CDN income tax...........

Weegar has been fine in Calgary. Can't really compare stats between the two when one team is a run and gun offense first team while the other is a defense first team. Montour had more points, Weegar had a better plus minus. Weegar also had to adjust to everything being new... Team, partner, coach, playstyle and culture. If Montour keeps playing like that he won't be cheaper for much longer. He's UFA after next season too.

No doubt there were a lot of little things that all added up but IMO the extreme panicdemic restrictions here in Canada were the deciding factor for him.
