Drury would just hang up on you laughing. Rangers are not trading anyone to Montreal, but keep dreaming I guess. Or get out the childish offer sheet threats.

The Lafreniere situation in NY is so weird I don't even know what the front office plans to do with him. He has too much potential to want to give up on him, and only so many players his age have the potential to score even 40 points on a contract with an AAV of 3 mil or less (assuming that's what he signs for). Maybe they'll trade him if a team does end up threatening an offer sheet, but recent history shows sending an offer sheet doesn't exactly work out for a team so it probably won't happen. Giving someone like Laf a 5 or 6 mil AAV would probably be an overpay anyways, like what CAR did with Kotkaniemi.

It a troll post - I just want to know the value of Schneider.

Y'all were manhandled by the Devils - so chill.

Still salty from your first round exit I see!

Trash is a big word. Is is enough for Laffy AND Schneider - absolutely not, are the elements trash, not really.

Couldn't care less about a first round exit. I happy the way panarin played hopefully he's gone, I've Ben advocating for a panarin trade for 2 seasons now. Dvorak trash, Edmonson trash, Farrell decent, and a 1st 2 years away and will provide be late... this is absolutely garbage.

Yeah, losing in 7 games is being "manhandled"....lol. In any case, its better than what the Habs accomplished this year, isn't it? Schneider isn't available, so there is your answer -so chill.

It’s not really a weird situation at all…he’s a young player developing in the best hockey league. His development might be slower than other #1 OAs, but there are many reasons for that- some out of his control. He is not hurting the team in the lineup- so patience is required while he continues to grow. If they decide to move him- unless it is for a massive overpay- would be a huge mistake…so the plan of action is really simple: sign him to a 2 or 3 year bridge deal and let him continue to develop.

Look at Calgary right now and tell me that their 2025 first round pick is not top 10.

Dvorak >> Goodrow.
Eddy would have helped you in the playoffs.

Habs were tanking - I guess we were pretty successful in that regard.

I'm messing with y'all - I actually like the NYR.

I agree... however, NYR's developpment track record has not been great.

Not trading Schneider. Lafreniere + Goodrow for Mesar + 2nd works.

Unfortunately regarding forwards I can’t disagree with that…
But they have a worse track record with moving on from guys like JT Miller and Buch-after they went through the pitfalls of development- for Pennie’s on the dollar- only to see them flourish elsewhere!

I still have faith in Laf's development. I agree, give him a bridge contract and see where he goes from there. He's too young to give up on.

I dont understand why neither side gets it. The Rangers are only trading him at his highest potential value, you dont trade number 1 overall picks unless its an overpayment strictly for the optics, its a fireable offence NOT to milk Laffy

I want no part of Laffy. Few Quebecois can handle the fish bowl in Mtl. Mesar, I am pretty high on and i dont see the Habs ever trading Slafkovsky's buddy.

I'd be interested...but at MY price, which is not NYR price, for reason stated above.
