Kupari takes the QO. F**emo, JAD, Bjornfot, and Villalta take 1-way guaranteed minimum contracts instead of 2-way QOs. Vilardi will at least get a 1 year deal around the offersheet threshold at 2.1 AAV, but I went with a 2 year 2.75AAV after having some extra cap space.
Korpisalo seems to be in the 3.5-4.5AAV range so I split the difference at 3 years.
Gavrikov probably gets between 4.5-6AAV but the Kings could offer the 8th year.
Maybe bring back Edler or add another vet Dman, but Bjornfot could be the 7th Dman.
Between changing Vilardi to a 2.1AAV and resigning Gavrikov/Korpisalo for a little less you can add a 1.5-2AAV LHD instead of Edler or Bjornfot. Edmundson or Zadorov 50% retained?
The rest of the players were given 1-way contracts instead of QOs but I am not sure how that plays out. No reserve list players will impact the NHL roster but some may be signed.

Walker goes to a team who struggles in free agency and could use a RHD for a 4th round pick.
Trading Spence and a 2nd to move Petersen would be painful but it would have to be done to resign Gavrikov, Korpisalo, and Vilardi.

Lastly, shake up the lines. Fiala Kopitar Kempe didn't work last year, but Danault could bring the same defensive, add more speed, and allow Fiala to control the puck. Move Byfield back to center on a great line with Iafallo and Vilardi. Clarke and Durzi can't play together. It would be a disaster, so Roy and Gavrikov will be split up to pair with younger offensive-defensemen.
