Kind of hard to comment on the proposed roster when you didn't suggest any specifics for a return on Olofsson......

It's easy though to comment that ignoring either Girgensons or Okposo coming back when everything those two said, along with Adams and Granato, point to it being a virtual given. Likewise, deleting UPL from the mix when Adams and Granato said he'll be part of the equation (even if only through start of next season after Levi cements his starting spot) .

I think Sabres' fans can count on the same 6 defensemen not being run back again.......so time to suggest someone in that Winnipeg proposal!

I think most people have accepted the idea that Bryson isn’t going to play over Stillman. Ideally, he is one of the candidates that is leaving via trade. I don’t know if both Savoie and Kulich will make the team full time. It’s a pretty safe bet that one of Girgensons and Okposo will be back.

And he won't be able to play in the AHL either. I liked Savoie in the camp with his play in defense and forecheck, and that was a year ago, he was then after an injury. Now he looks great and I think he will be better than Olofsson next season when playing at 5 on 5.

Just gotta figure out if he stays at C or move him to the Wing

As always thank you for your comments.
All very constructive input given by Sabre ACGM's who probably know more than I.
I traded Olofsson with retention, but knowing how Pegula operates not wanting to retain, he probably will not sanction this trade.
There are so many options for adding a defenseman, I chose the cowardly path and decided not pick any.
Looking ahead, it will be Östlund, Kisakov and Rosén's turn to shine in Rochester next year.
BTW, has everyone noticed how well Subban is playing?
      He has a 2.7 GAA and 0.921 SV%
Nice planning to have 4 GK in case of injury.

Kind of hard to comment on the proposed roster when you didn't suggest any specifics for a return on Olofsson...I know, just did not want to get into a discussion regarding his value.
Only 55 fowards scored more goals than he and only 18 scored faster than his 1.6goals/60.
Many give him away for a third, hard to believe he would not return more.
It's easy though to comment that ignoring either Girgensons or Okposo ... Yup most likely one if not both will be in the lineup. Likewise, deleting UPL from the mix...Cap Friendly indicated he could be waived without losing him, so I put him in Rochester
I think Sabres' fans can count on the same 6 defensemen not being run back again...Too many options, and did not want to speculate which defenseman, wanted to see the line up with Kulich and Savoie.

Savoie ready IMO it will be hard to keep Kulich and Savoie out of the line up next year.

I think they will both be great candidates to crack the roster. Even if they do, Rochester will have a ton of young talent, albeit very raw. It will be critical to see if Appert can hone players like Kisakov, Neuchev, Ostlund, Cederqvist, Kozak etc. He has done a fantastic job with Rosen and has fine-tuned Kulich. Kozak has had a good playoffs so far, I truly think he can be a shut-down 4th liner similar to Kampf but with more puck skills

Listening to Adams last week on WGR during the hour-long interview, he sounded like he sees Savoie as emotionally and mentally prepared for the NHL in his compete level, focus and work ethic as he's spoken about Levi........and he used the same cliche about "nothing will be given" as he's said about Levi when the media tries to corner him into making guarantees. If Savoie dominates development camp and then training camp, I think he's a lock for being on the roster. Adams also acknowledged that Kulich's ability to play in the AHL next year vs. Savoie not being eligible could be a factor.

Based on history and their pattern in the past, where Cozens and Krebs each started on the wing before getting comfortable with their natural center positions, I suspect Savoie will start at RW. They won't throw him into the fire as 3C (if they force Krebs back to the 4th line) and wasting him on 4th line checking duties - especially between grinders like Okposo and Girgensons, if they come back, wouldn't help his development IMO.
