Seems like way too many out of organization players coming in wouldn’t make much sense. Doubt the avs plan on losing Girard, Francouz, J.Johnson, Nieto, Cogliano, Rodrigues, Eller, and Compher in 1 off-season, they will definitely Lose a few of them but of those 8 players, we should have atleast 5/6 coming back. However, I cannot judge you if this is just a fantasy, however if this is a prediction type post, don’t expect as much movement

I do think that Jack Johnson, Eller, and Cogliano are probably gone. I love Cogliano but him being 36 soon coming off a broken neck makes me think he’s retiring. Same with Helm. I feel Compher might ask for too much (he did just have a career season) and will get overpaid as a one-year wonder. Rodrigues and Francouz will probably stay but Eller, despite being good defensively, looked like he was just a rental. Girard might be gone because his contract is eating up valuable cap space but I’d his play was good for the last half of the season. I think there’s a 1/3 chance he’s gone. Nieto honestly should come back and I honestly forgot about him when making this 😬.

You can keep Francouz. Canes can get the same kind of impact that Francouz would provide from Raanta.

Jack Johnson guerrentied gone, I think if we could get eller from 1-1.5 mil then he’s back, compher probably gone, Rodrigues probably back from 1-1.5, I think re get nieto back and ride out Girard and let it unfold

Caps decline. Can’t afford to take on an extra 5M with no substantial cap going out.

Girard was mostly a cap dump so he could’ve gone anywhere suitable really.

The isles are not moving Nelson in the offseason, if he got moved the the TDL a 1st and 2nd or 1st and better prospect than merkley would get it done.

I don’t think many people would view him as a cap dump, but okay. But if that’s the case, we’re not moving Fehervary for him.

Well in reality he is definitely not a camp dump but I will admit that this team building on my pard is bad (obviously, it’s Armchair GM). He would just need to be moved for the cap to fit.
