Description
Alt-Top 9 below for those who want to ship 37 back to the 3rd line game 1.*

*I'll be disapointed if they dont give Mittelstadt a chance to keep producing at the 17 points in 11 games pace he had ending the year with Tuch/Skinner... But Krebs/JJ/Iafallo is miles better than Jost/Olofsson and think he'll still be effective there.

Skinner - Thompson - Tuch
Iafallo/JJ - Cozens - Quinn
Mittelstadt - Krebs - JJ/Iafllo

Extensions in Created/LTIR:
- I think I'm being too optimistic with the Power contract at $6.5 AAV, but I think Dahlin and Mitts come in around there if done this summer. 6 year deal for Power let's him sign another 8 year deal still in his early prime years at 27, seems like the best *term* for both sides.

Not sure who the best fit for UFA goalie is, thoughts? Just went with Raanta cuz I've seen a lot of people talking about it

I wouldn't trade Alex Iafallo for a 1st round pick. Most underrated player in the NHL at an extremely team-friendly cap hit.

Fair enough. Saw roughly this value proposed by kings fans

    https://www.capfriendly.com/armchair-gm/team/4158962
Amongst others. One said something along the lines of a top 35 pick and something else, and then specifically called out the PHI pick

Yes, I understand you really like Iafallo, as you should. He's also moved in almost every post by a kings fan in some capacity.

I get it, and it's because a lot of fans undervalue blue collar players.

However, if you read anything that the Kings front office and coaching staff say about him, it's very clear that Iafallo isn't going anywhere. They'd trade both Moore and Arvidsson before they traded Iafallo.

Petry trade is bad for Sabres. Jokiharju is still only 23. No reason to pay 7,5 mil for Petry.

Would you rather have Joki *next year* than Petry on you're 2nd pair? Forget about the money and age for the sake of the question if you don't mind

    Jokiharju. Much safer option.

You can't avoid age, when we are dealing with 36 yrs hockey player. Petry could be on last leg. That would be his 3rd team in 3 years, would he find motivation anymore ?

I think those are fair questions for sure! I was trying to be semi-realistic with Petry as a last resort of sorts.

I think Joki is the further thing from a safe option... dude is straight Jekyll and Hyde. To be fair, that's how I felt about Mitts too and I've been all aboard the mittsy train since he got here because of the flashes and growth year over year. I'll reconsider my Joki hate, because for every time he gets completely lost in his d-zone, he did play really well down the stretch at times

That is a terrible trade for Buffalo.
Take out Jokiharju and it is closer.
Petry is over paid by at least a second, maybe more.
So to settle the discussion, let's get a second AND Petry and keep Jokiharju.
