Caps keeping their 8OA and if they aren't they'll get a better player for it. I like Schmaltz but Caps can do better.

You are probably right, 3 yrs of a guy like Schmaltz (at his cap hit) is very valuable but the 8OA likely gets a decent NHL'er that will be good for years. Big issue there is that guy will not be ready for 2-3 years.
