First isn’t enough for scheifele, nylander straight up for scheifele doesn’t make that much sense for Winnipeg without the team control and not sure who the other guy is, just don’t see a real fit here with no leafs cap room to speak of and nylander probably not extending in Winnipeg.

Canes do not even consider this for a second. You want 3 core pieces for a player that turns into a ghost come playoff time, and Carolina takes on almost double the cap hit to do it? Easy pass.
