I'd be ok with it. GMPV punting his first UFA signing in Strome after 1 season might be bad optics, but this is something that I'd be happy with.

This will be a scary roster when some of their other young Dmen make the jump.

I think he would have to talk to him before making the deal because if that as well just as good faith since he did give him a 5 year deal

As a Canucks fan I'm seriously jealous. If Drysdale can make a full comeback from injury that is a scary group on the blue line.

Yeah...I think as the team gets deeper, Strome probably has an easier time in this lineup, but also yes, I'd do this.

Honestly been struggling with making my ideal lineups with Strome in the lineup though lately

Yeah, it's a bit tough. I think he goes to 3RW long term.

I wouldn't be shocked to see someone like Lundy or Jones get moved this summer. Every day that passes, the more I think Comer gets non-tendered (which makes me sad).

Curious to get your opinions on this for my fantasy hockey roster next year; if he's fully healthy does Drysdale have a shot at taking over PP1 next season (or beyond)? Long term does that spot go to one of the other young LD's coming up?

Depends on the coach, and depends on who comes up. For instance, if Zellweger gets in this lineup (Or even Mintyukov?), it *could* theoretically get split. I'm not sure that they'll push Drysdale early in the year either...I could see a situation where he's playing 16ish minutes a night.

I'd take the under, but it'd be hella fun to see two creative PP units.

Absolutely! Guy seems like a beauty

After reading and listening I sort of wish he was going to be a little further North coaching

I suppose my guy Rikard Grönborg is no longer an option though

Time for that Ryan Getzlaf guy to man the bench for the year while McIlvane is in SD

I doubt Big-Z is available, but it’d have to be for both Perrault and Tracey + Simon Benoit with CGY maybe sending a Prospect or Mid-Pick Back

I have to imagine Perrault & Tracey’s values have dropped considerably at this point, while Zadorov’s has gone up since we acquired him. Maybe not a 1st, but a couple 2nds + a Replacement Player like I suggested above

Noah Warren and Tristan Luneau would likely be of interest too

This assumes Zadorov extends with ANA long-term for cheap all at the same time. We’re hoping Z does with CGY for $2-3mil/yr
