I wasn't certain you were sending enough value to NSH, but when you added an undrafted ECHLer scoring at a 0.33 PPG clip, I still didn't change my mind.

Doubt AZ wants to pay Granlund's salary for the next 2 seasons. They pass.

There's the problem. We don't have one of those.

I would consider it if you added Pickering. Calgary could use another big bodied guy down the line. I doubt Hanifin is moved at all though, especially before July 1st

If Calgary gets a modern coach to utilize his abilities he should not be traded, but I think he would do great things next to Letang and I would love to see that.

I'm sure him leaving in free agency in two seasons will be much better lol. Nashville obviously rebuilding and would more than likely take two high round draft picks for what is likely a few years missing the postseason.

There's only one draft pick in your offer, not two.

If Saros were available, all of the many teams needing a goalie (EDM, TOR, CAR, LA, NJ, etc) could easily beat this offer. PIT has arguably the worst prospect pool in the NHL. They don't have the pieces to outbid anyone for top players.

Why does Saros' contract expiring two full seasons from now mean NSH should sell him for pennies on the dollar this summer? Wouldn't it be better to get two more seasons of elite goaltending until Askarov is ready? They can always trade him at the 24-25 deadline, if they're out of the playoff picture.

Do you think when Saros becomes a free agent PIT has a chance of signing him? They're in worse shape than NSH currently, and will be in a much worse place two years from now. They have no futures, and all their stars will be gone or a decade past their primes by then.

IF Hanifin is Traded, he’s a Prime Sign & Trade Candidate, so I’d be looking for more like a 1st + 2nd + 3rd + Roster Player =

2023-1st-PIT + POJ or Poulin + Legare or Svejkovsky + A. Nylander

Yeah, I’m not high on Pickering myself

At least POJ is NHL Ready & Experienced. And similar to if CLB’s Bemstrom were acquired in a Trade, Nylander would be a complete hit or miss addition and likely become our Matthew Phillips AHL replacement

But we don't really need a guy thats NHL ready right now because that just increases the chance we loose them to waivers for nothing, especially a LHD. And Pickering is a good prospect, i think he will be very similar to Oleksiak
