I love Marner, but I would make that Boston trade from the Leafs perspective.

Too much cap for Schenn but I do want him back. Not enough cap going to Sammy.

Bunting is a good player but he didn't give us much in the playoffs. He is quick and shifty but I wouldn't want him for more than 3m a year. (he will get more on the open market).

No needs for Kessel.

Marner would win 5 cups with Boston if this happened

Cap out to cap back is almost the same plus they are getting younger

Marner > > > > > > > > Marchand+Grzelcyk, Dubas would definitely be fired if he made this trade. Marners value is far greater.

Should be 4.5 tops. His production is tied to Matthews and Marner.

I wouldn't even resign him due to anytime he draws a call, he gets called on embellishing or misconduct or something else that doesn't make sense

I can't stand the turdball. My biggest fear is Yzerman signing him this summer. ☹️

Yzerman's a good GM though... On top of that, he's got a 5.5/8 with the Oilers lined up on July 1st

If Kenny can create some cap space. It wouldn't surprise me. LOL

They've got their 5.9 mill in cap space lol. Worst case, Kenny will trade Kulak or someone. As a Leafs fan, the one thing I know almost as much as 1967 is all Leafs rejects end up in Edmonton

Nah, anything more than 3.5 is a bad deal. As others have mentioned he gets most of his points off better players. On his own, he's a 30 point winger
