Was depends on what direction they’re going in.

WPG I think accepts, Ehlers and Dubois are both rumoured to be on the outs with them.

WPG gets more value in return if they're to move them. If they qualify Dubois, the draft capital return for just him at $8.5 is 2x 1sts, a 2nd and a 3rd.

Caps decline for sure. I dont see Wilson being moved in the next few seasons if ever and the amount it would take to move him is not worth it for the other team (this is not enough)

Ari isn't trading two really good / great players on favorable contracts for 2 years of Marner.

In a vacuum Keller = Marner but Keller is cheaper and signed to a longer deal so he is WAY more valuable.

I think it would take Marner + 1st + more to get just Keller.

Player A
Expected Goals: 14.8
Goals: 24
Points: 53
Penalty Min Differential: -17
Takeaways: 48
Corsi: 50%
On Ice Expected Goals Against/ 60: 2.90

Player B:
Expected Goals: 9.9
Goals: 15
Points: 53
Penalty Min Differential: -13
Takeaways: 77
Corsi: 53%
On Ice Expected Goals Against/ 60: 2.39

So Player A is better at scoring and Player B is better at preventing goals. Player A (Keller) is on a terrible team with no supporting cast. He is a one man show. Player B (Marner) has 3 superstars on his team and doesn't have nearly as much solely on him.

So while the argument could be made that one is marginally better than the other, I think it could be made both ways. Therefore, they are about equal.

Do you have data to prove otherwise?

You have to love Laffs fans. They are HILARIOUS. WPG laughs so hard that Dubas or whoever proposed that brutal offer has to hang up after listening to non stop laughing and WPG calling people over to have the offer proposed again so they can laugh again.
