No one is paying ANYTHING for Mrazek or Allen. Especially not a 2nd round pick. Nice try, though.

Big no, Allen had better value before his extension prior to last years TDL. I don't honestly think we could give him away at this point, maybe an over the horizon 4th or 5th if we're lucky.

Nobodies paying a 2nd+ for an average overpaid backup goalie. And hawks will keep mrazek in hopes of having 1 more season at the bottom of the standings.

It wouldnt be hard to move allen.

All the underlying numbers show allen to be a pretty average goaltender that just happens to be playing on a bad team. Most teams would be happy with league average goaltending from a 1a/b goalie

The goalie market is also very soft this year. There is only 3 goalies who played more games than him (jones jarry reimer) and jarry was the only one of the 3 that hit a .900 sv percentage. Korpisalo was the only other goalie to hit a .905 even who played 30 games.

If the options for a team are pay a 3rd and get Allen for 2 years at sub 4 million or throw a 5x5 at korpisalo they will provably take allen
