Yeah... I don't think PLD will fetch a top 5 pick. Not in the interest of MTL to do so.

Oh... where to start.

#1. MTL does not accept. If they do, you win Hero of the Jets award.
#2. WPG does not want Yama.
#3. WPG DOES NOT WANT Marner. That contract is a franchise killer. I would barely go Ehlers for Marner if equal contract. No trading Lambo(rghini).
#4. WPG doesn't want to give up that much for Keller, but it's close. Keller would be nice to have.

What don't you get that mtl trade isn't enough! Kidney is not going to be a superstar and likely not even top six on a contender. 2023 1st kidney 2024 2nd and Norlinder is a better trade that both sides would do. You are way too high on Kidney here.

MTL's 5th overall pick is enough. Kidney is a huge bonus.

Nvm I didn't realize it was the 5th pick. Definitely unlikely that pick is traded. Just wait for the hab fans to destroy that trade.

Three good players for Marner but not the right package. Marner’s hockey IQ is what separates him. All three of these players have questionable hockey IQ.
