The Marner trades purposed by Leaf fans on this site are HILARIOUS!!!!
    TOR
Here is a list of players I wouldn't trade to the Leafs for Marner straight up, much less adding top prospects, 1st round picks, or good young NHL players, as so many Leaf fans have suggested. Taking everything into account, there is no way Buffalo does any of these. Leaf fans, you might move Marner this summer but it won't be to Buffalo so please stop.

Don't worry, Leafs will have no business trading Marner to the Sabres either. Sabres have no prospects, only 5'9" 150 pound prospects that will likely have a good career in the AHL at best. Leafs will look elsewhere where there are better roster players AND prospects grimace

Even if the Leafs were to trade Marner to Buffalo, Kevyn Adams would get absolutely fleeced. I think it's best for Buffalo to stay away

Another post where Marner isn't worth a top prospect, roster player or a 1st. Sounds about right

Sabres have one of the top prospect pools in the NHL. If you look at their 23 and under list of players its top 5 at worst. Not to mention AHL team is in conference finals with an extremely young group, 5 players are 22 or under and AHL rookies.

That's not what I said Rip. Read the post again, Marner is absolutely worth that to some teams. Buffalo as 3rd in the league in scoring, their priorities are in other areas. They also have the young core locked up on good value contracts. So Marner to them is not a need, if Marner was a RHD maybe the conversation is different.

The only trade Marner wouldn't be worth is for Tage T, and if you think Tuch has more value then Marner *yikes*

He absolutely does when you consider he's signed for an additional year, makes $6.15M less per year, is a point a game power forward, and has ties to Western/Central NY.

Yup your assessment is spot on. As you can see with their latest prospect signing from Russia. I mean 6'3" and 200 lbs. at 19 years old is flat out tiny.
