Description

Haven't you seen the picture of Tavares in a Jets pyjamas? With the likely departure of Dubois and Scheifele, the Jets need someone to revamp their franchise. They trade their star goalie for Tavares.

The only kind of player the Leafs can trade Marner for is a high-end talent like Byram. He and Landeskog come back to the Leafs in that blockbuster trade.

The trade with the Flames assumes a "retool," with CGY acquiring young prospects for a rental.
