Tavares said he won’t waive his NMC, and he certainly isn’t waiving for the sharks my guy. Also that’s a lot to give up for EK65 without JT ngl.

Another unthinking "Which Toronto forward do I want to trade for some valuable assets on another team?" ACGM, constructed without the slightest evidence of any thought about LA's roster composition or cap situation, which currently stands at $6.6 million in cap space with 4 open slots, including the gaping hole at #2LhD that we need to fill with a $4 or $5 million free agent. A trade featuring $5 million cap out, $10.9 million cap in and two more forward slots to fill doesn't work with LA's current roster, never mind any on-ice-value considerations like why we would want to trade away the entire careers of two key youngsters on their ELCs for a guy who's going to walk two Junes from now. But of course, that's exactly why you want this trade, isn't it?

Toronto fans 🛑 Tavares isn't waiving and you can't threaten to waive him ,so, all you can do is buy him out . That however, saves you under 700k so he can't even be replaced with a league minimum contract. When a guy says he gave up money to play for you and then says he isn't waiving believe him.

I think I might just copy and paste this to all the Leaf fans trade proposals to the Kings.
