I can definitely see the Canucks accepting, but they’d probably rather move Boeser or Garland over Beauviller

wth are these trades??????
The Yotes trade is a bit odd for us. Sure we want to move up, but idk if we'd do that.
Take that Leafs trade SUCKS for us, NO SHOT we trade our future starter, a solid prospect AND two draft picks for 1 year of Nylander.
Why would CHI trade for Trenin and Nylander?? They're gonna suck for at least two more years. They could flip them, but this is a stacked draft(2023) and I can't see them moving those picks.
VAN trade sucks for VAN. NSH loses their best PKer, but moves up. Nucks move DOWN which is the OPPOSITE of what they should be doing rn.
Now onto the signings. WAY too much for Foote and Livingstone. Team itself should still be competitive during this retool and I'd say that it isn't.
With the lines, I'm just going to assume you didn't bother.

Maybe Garland not Boeser though. IMO, it's not the right move for us. We should be moving up to draft Reinbacher.

Tyler Bertuzzi doesn't sign that joke of an offer.

laugh You trade Askarov for Nylander, And then trade Nylander to Chicago.

I would do Boeser or Garland. I the idea was to give you cap space and we move up in the draft. I reason I didnt go for Boeser or Garland is I didnt think the points return from us was equal.

I did. Yeah smile I dont want Nylander, another huge contract down the road. I would rather flip him for the draft pics.

I don't get the flipping Nylander for less than you gave up for him part, unless you're banking on CHI winning the lottery again next year.

Look at what Tanner Jeannot got. These type of players are extremely valuable in the playoffs. Most second round picks don't end up being anything. I would get at least two second round picks for him. If I'm Nashville I would actually sign him to a long-term contract unless I get a really great offer.

Hawks decline both of those trades. Rebuilding teams don't trade away 1st and 2nd round picks for pending UFA's.

I kind of agree with this, but a lot of people forget WHY it was Jeannot got moved for an entire draft class.

If you refer back to last summer, we helped Tampa clear McDonagh's cap for essentially nothing, which was over 6m at a hefty length.
The big payout for Jeannot was most likely just compensation for us helping them.
