Rob Blake isn't trading Byfield, Clarke and Turcotte for 2 years of Marner. LA can't even fit Marner in. There needs to be similar cap going out. LA is trying to re-sign Gavrikov that will only leave them with roughly $3,000,000 left plus need at least a backup goalie. I doubt Blake would give that up for Matthews let alone Marner.

You hypothetically acquire Clarke in an absolute fleecing of LA, then turn around and give him away to Philly? I wouldn't trade Clarke 1-for-1 for either of those guys. You're treating him like a B prospect, and not the absolute stud that he is.

That's a dream for the Flyers, finally a TOR ACGM that isn't shipping Marner to the flyers and does something i like, albeit knowing that it'll never happen. Clarke is going to be a King for a very long time.

I agree with the comment that the Hartman trade has picks stacked on the wrong side, but I dig the wheeling and dealing nature of this one. Acquiring players just to trade them away…and then get ridiculed by opposing fan bases! It’s what ACGM is all about.
