Wtf are you thinking? As if NSH would be the ones to add in that trade... less than a 0% chance, way less. My god these are getting worse by the minute.

I doubt that Nashville would trade two seasons of Saros for two seasons of Marner because they can re-sign Saros (and for a lot less than Marner), and I know that the Preds wouldn't trade 7 seasons of Forsberg for 2 seasons of Marner, never mind Forsberg's NMC.

Los Angeles isn't going to exchange 27-year-old $975,000 Zack MacEwen for 32-year-old $2.1 million Calle Jarnkrok.

Also the Leafs won't be helping out their divisional rival by improving their goaltending for only a 4th round pick!

Look at the return for tkachuk with less time on contract. Both he and tkachuk are top 15 players in the league. Forseberg is often injured with 7 years remaining on his deal and Saros is great but goalies aren’t valued as highly as elite skaters. I think Nashville takes this deal as for the leafs I think they’re the ones that potentially say no.

Tkachuk is better than Marner, and he also signed an extension for 8 years when the trade took place. Nashville would get two years out of Marner for a top 5 goalie and their best forward. No thanks
