The trades are interesting (if not all entirely practical) but the UFA deals are universally bad. Overpaying mid players in a terrible UFA class doesn't make sense, period, on anything but 1-year deals.

Appreciate your feedback. My thought was raising the speed and grit with most of the UFA deals. Tried to keep them 2 years as stop gaps since the Hawks don't have much for forward prospects ready to come up

Very interesting trades and adds. I will wait for nucks fans to say no. lol. I think Severson gets longer term tho. Like the idea of Grans and Turcotte. Domi, Bara and wood are good adds. We can overpay guys for the next few years because we need to add 20 mil just this year to hit the cap floor. Also like moving up and adding another 1st this year. Not bad. All things are logical, obviously values may be needing some adds or subtracts but fills a lot of things I could see the hawks trying to do. I would tweak your lines a bit. I would start Bedard as 2nd line center with maybe domi and rads, garland or Johnson.

Agree mostly. I would take the Wood and Domi deals. We could get a ****load for Wood half retained with an extra year at the deadline.

The Kings won't be trading Turcotte this summer unless a 1st round pick or a quality LHD are coming back. If you really want him, you're better off waiting until next summer when his price will drop considerably if he still hasn't cracked the NHL lineup.

Wishful thinking in my part for sure. Thanks for your contribution!

Tampa Bay declines the Colton trade. They'll get far better offers if they are forced to trade him. Hawks don't make the Seabs deal. His cap hit won't be needed to get to the cap floor. And the Hawks don't make the Murphy trade. That's selling low on him. Interesting Kings idea. Curious to see what Kings fans think.
