Second from the bottom
That Reinhart contract gets a GM fired. Hawks stay far away from that contract. Go grab a versatile 2nd line C/W for 2-3 year contract. Get a veteran tough dmen to play with Korch for 2-3 year contract. Those 2 types of players should be #1 on Kyle's list of guys to target in the off season, whether that is in Free agency or via trade.

Realistic Roster
Your thoughts are solid.
Levshunov if drafted by the blackhawks is not ready for the NHL and will be going back to college. I believe they need to take Demidov there in my opinion. We don't have another elite top line forward prospect.
We need a veteran RHD but i dont think its Dumba.
Teuvo is going to want more than 3 years, i just dont think he is a fit.

Yeah this is out there. The blackhawks are super deep on Left hand Dmen. SO they would have no interest taking this player and long contract.

This is an easy NO from Chicago's end. Kurashev looks to be a solid middle six player for our future. They love Dickinson hence the 2 year extension.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Hawksguy81</b></div><div>Nice job w/ the lineup. Not sure either Domi or Tanev will sign in Chicago, but positionally, you nailed the two biggest needs. Not sure Kyle is going to trade for a 6 foot tall D man or that Utah is ready to move on yet from Soderstrom. As for the draft, I'm on board w/ Demidov. And I'm a fan of Charlie Elick w/ the Tampa Bay 1st.to address RD.</div></div>
Yeah I am not sure Domi or Tanev would want to sign with us. I know Domi liked it here in Chicago. I gave the Soderstrom a shot in the dark as we are weak on RHD and if anything Rockford would benefit having him, wasnt sure if he is now in the reclamation project stage or what kind of value he actually has. I would be fine with this not happening and getting a 7th dmen if need be.
I have been reading into this upcoming draft and can't wait until there is more scouting reports out there on these later 1st round and 2nd round guys. I think there may be a chance we can trade up from that 20 range into the 12-14 range and may be able to get a better RHD prospect. Adam Jiricek seems to be a solid prospect even tho he was hurt most of the year.
That later range like you said Charlie Elick, EJ Emery, Dominik Badinka, and Adam Kleber all fit the mold of a player the blackhawks would draft.

Fitting team needs
The blackhawks are lacking another true 1st line forward talent. In my opinion is is Demidov or Lindstrom for the blackhawks with that top 4 pick. Our tampa pick may get moved up to draft the right handed dmen they target.

Yeah that is my thought if Montreal wants to pursue some other player or free agent that they would want to move Dvorak. They would have to give a draft pick or prospect in my opinion. Yeah domi can be switch with like a debrusk. I just know he fit in well when he played here.

They hawks might take Eller for a 2nd but no way are they taking Graves and that contract. Plus he is a Left handed D and the blackhawks have a deep pool of them.

Hawk cap Dumps and off-season for fun
Very interesting trades and adds. I will wait for nucks fans to say no. lol. I think Severson gets longer term tho. Like the idea of Grans and Turcotte. Domi, Bara and wood are good adds. We can overpay guys for the next few years because we need to add 20 mil just this year to hit the cap floor. Also like moving up and adding another 1st this year. Not bad. All things are logical, obviously values may be needing some adds or subtracts but fills a lot of things I could see the hawks trying to do. I would tweak your lines a bit. I would start Bedard as 2nd line center with maybe domi and rads, garland or Johnson.

Honestly, if I'm Davidson, I am not looking at defensemen in the 1st round this year unless we get at least two more 1st round picks, which is highly unlikely. Addressing goaltending and RHD can wait. We have time, and there is always free agency if prospects aren't ready when CHI switches gears into playoff mode.</div></div>
I agree 100%. I hope some dmen get picked in the 1st and some forwards slide. I think if there is any chance Ryan Leonard or Oliver Moore slide out of the top 10 the hawks will aggressively try to move up from 19 to pick one of them. I know it will be very hard to move up but we have draft capital to do it.

I could see the sabres wanting Murphy but the hawks like Murphy's leadership and need the salary as of right now. It would take more than that for the hawks to trade him.

As a hawks fan thats a yes but I knew instantly the Nucks fans would say NO. The hawks may have to add another pick to that. You never know what teams draft boards look like. Van may have a guy they love that they know they can get at 19 so they are willing to move back those 8 spots gain assets and open cap up but still get the guy they want. I don't think people understand how the business part of hockey works.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Garak</b></div><div>For sure. Kelley and Crevier could still turn out. I don't have much hope for Krutil. And I think Rinzel is gonna take some time, but he will be a beast. But a lot of that is pretty far away. I've been doing a ton of scouting this year, and I was hoping Willander would be a sneaky good 2nd round pick. Up until all the final draft rankings came out for 2023, he was ranked in the 2nd or 3rd round by a lot of public scouts. But now he is ranked in the 1st round and it seems there is way more buzz around him.</div></div>
Yeah I have been reading about a lot of Prospects also and really like Willander for the Blackhawks. I was thinking the same either picking him with our 2nd rounder. But now I am hearing he may not even be there at 19th which blows my mind. I am figuring they draft forward heavy at least there first 3 picks. If they could add another late 1st and someone falls I could see a dmen then. Exciting time of year with such a good draft, so much cap space and draft capital.

Maybe even Dvorak, being a CHI native and having played under Richardson previously, but not with any value attached to him, and it would have to be a 'cap out' situation for MTL, and they would likely have to pay more than this.</div></div>

Fair enough. I am also thinking if all the crazy rumors on PLD are true, and he gets moved to MON and with the Caufield contract they may consider moving Dvorak making 4.45 mil over the next 2 years. Its not like he is a constant 50 pt guy, hes a 30 pt guy so a little overpaid at least for the offensive production.
Like I said my values are probably off. But teams aren't taking cap for free, the hawks may if they like the player tho.

Off Season Moves
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Kalopsia</b></div><div>1) Trade Kuzy to Colorado for their 1st (Kuzy passes through Arizona for ~2M retention with the Caps and Avs each throwing in a pick/prospect in return)
2) Call up McMichael and Malenstyn to play 2C and 4LW respectively
3) Sign Fehervary, say 2 years at a 2.5M cap hit
End result is the Caps have 11M in cap room with 11F, 6D, and 2G on the roster. Plenty of room to add a 2RW and a few healthy scratches. If you think the Caps get a roster player back for Kuzy for around the same cap hit, then that player slots into 2RW and they have 3.2M for healthy scratches. Either way, the Caps don't have a desperate need to dump Mantha unless it's specifically to create room to replace him, which they've shown no indication they want to do.</div></div>
Well thought out. How do you know Avs even want Kuzy. They can probably get Monahan for cheap in free agency and than be able to add another forward or 2 to make them deeper.

Off Season Moves
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Kalopsia</b></div><div>A vocal subset of the Caps fans on this site want to dump him, and their now ex-coach horribly mismanaged him and destroyed his confidence in the second half of the season. I haven’t seen anything that suggests the Caps management (which is still the same group that paid a huge price for him not even a year and a half ago) wants to move on from him, let alone is willing to pay to get rid of him.</div></div>
Right now the caps have 17 players signed for next season and only have 7.3 mil in cap space. So i would have to believe they need to move a contract. I get Kuzy is probably going to be moved. I would assume they would be getting a roster player back with a solid cap hit so you aren't going to gain a lot from getting rid of Kuzy.

Vancouver fans need to realize that they need to get rid of cap and there aren't a lot of teams willing to take on cap space. Unfortunately there players aren't going to be worth as much as they think. It is just the cost of doing business in the current NHL with not much growth in the salary cap yet.
