That would be a hell of a deal for Swayman, but CHI just isn't in the market at all right now, let alone for a goaltender. We have three very promising goalie prospects under contract, one of which (Soderblom) is set to be in the NHL full time next season. Also, they aren't trying to be competitive any time soon. They'll work through the prospects they have over the next few years and revisit trades and free agency in the future if none of them work out.

Season long lunch break on that Swayman deal! He´s got all the promise the B´s been looking for since 'Rask-days', so he is worth a lot more. Btw. ain´t likely leaving for the same reason - maybe perhaps and maybe again in a package for a top C !
